Hello!

My name is Anacleia, but many know me as Ana do Sapato. I'm 41 years old, married, a mother, and a grandmother. I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, but five years ago, I embarked on a journey that took me beyond borders, to San Antonio, Texas.

My entrepreneurial story began in an unexpected way. It was an ordinary church service night in Brazil. During the sermon, something extraordinary happened. A special message was directed to me, a divine promise that I would have a store. At the time, I didn't fully understand the meaning of those words, as I had never considered entrepreneurship, let alone in another country. However, I held onto that prophecy in my heart, confident that God had a plan for me.

Upon arriving in San Antonio, after working for a while in restaurants, I felt the need to seek a livelihood that would allow me to take care of my children and, at the same time, work with something I loved. That's when I asked God for guidance.

One day, during a conversation with friends, the pastor's wife suggested that I consider selling something. Initially, I was confused, as I didn't speak English fluently and didn't know how to communicate with customers. However, as we explored different possibilities, the idea of bringing Brazilian shoes to San Antonio, something I truly loved, emerged.

The lack of comfort in the locally available shoes, in contrast to the quality and style of Brazilian shoes, became my business opportunity. Thus, the dream of entrepreneurship came to life, driven by the memory of the divine promise I carried with me.

With the support of friends and family, the name "From There to Here Boutique" emerged, a tribute to my journey and the trajectory of Brazilian shoes to San Antonio. The name was chosen in conjunction with a friend and pastor, who also contributed to the development of the logo.

Today, after nearly three years of dedication, I continue to design and live out God's promises, sharing not only shoes but also my faith and story with the San Antonio community.

My entrepreneurial journey is proof that when we trust in God and pursue our dreams with determination, we can overcome challenges and achieve success, no matter where we are in the world.
